Concrete pier footings
by: Craig

I had soupy soil as well but my biggest problem was large rocks under the surface. The excavator driver called them 'floaters'. He charged me for every time he broke an auger bit extension. When you hear the crash as the auger hits the rock, tell him to pull out and then have a good look down. Could be you don't need to go any further.
