Drywalling is for the pros

Looking at my 3 bedroom kit home, I knew I couldn't do the internal linings, not without a lot of help. I worked it out that it would take me about 4-6 weeks to complete myself and maybe 2-3 weeks with a helper. A pro team took a few days and the finish was neat and smooth. If I had done it I would be forever looking at an uneven spot and regretting it.

If you're a 'handy' person, you should have a go yourself. If all you've ever done is watch renovation shows on tv and don't really know one end of a hammer from another, get a pro. I've made a lot of money over the years from having to pull down botched building jobs and redo them properly because someone said it 'looked easy on that tv show'.
